दोहा १: श्रीगुरु चरन सरोज रज, निज मनु मुकुरु सुधारि। बरनउं रघुबर बिमल जसु, जो दायकु फल चारि॥
Dohā 1: Śrī-guru carana saroja raja, nija manu mukuru sudhāri | Baranauṁ raghubara bimala jasu, jo dāyaku phala cāri ||
Meaning: Cleansing the mirror of my mind with the dust of the lotus feet of my revered Guru, I narrate the stainless glory of Lord Rama, which bestows the four fruits of life: Dharma, Artha, Kama, and Moksha.
दोहा २: बुद्धिहीन तनु जानिके, सुमिरौं पवन-कुमार। बल बुधि बिद्या देहु मोहिं, हरहु कलेस बिकार॥
Dohā 2: Buddhi-hīna tanu jānike, sumirauṁ pavana-kumāra | Bala budhi bidyā dehu mohiṁ, harahu kalesa bikāra ||
Meaning: Knowing myself to be devoid of wisdom, I meditate upon You, O Son of the Wind! Bestow upon me physical strength, keen intellect, and sacred knowledge, and dispel all my afflictions and moral blemishes.

Chaupāī 1: Jai Hanumāna jñāna guna sāgara | Jai kapīsa tihuṁ loka ujāgara ||
Meaning: Glory to Hanuman, an infinite ocean of supreme wisdom and virtues! Victory to the king of Vanaras, whose divine renown illuminates all three worlds!

Chaupāī 2: Rāma dūta atulita bala dhāmā | Añjani-putra pavanasuta nāmā ||
Meaning: The foremost emissary of Lord Rama, the supreme abode of incomparable strength, celebrated throughout creation as Anjani's son and the child of the Wind God.
चौपाई ३: महाबीर बिक्रम बजरंगी। कुमति निवार सुमति के संगी॥
Chaupāī 3: Mahābīra bikrama bajaraṅgī | Kumati nivāra sumati ke saṅgī ||
Meaning: Great hero of unmatched valor, with limbs as unyielding as a thunderbolt! Dispeller of evil thoughts and steadfast companion of pure, righteous wisdom!
चौपाई ४: कंचन बरन बिराज सुबेसा। कानन कुंडल कुंचित केसा॥
Chaupāī 4: Kañcana barana birāja subesā | Kānana kuṇḍala kuñcita kesā ||
Meaning: Your golden complexion radiates divine brilliance, wearing splendid attire; with radiant kundalas adorning Your ears and beautifully curled locks of hair.

Chaupāī 5: Hātha bajra au dhvajā birājai | Kāṅdhe mūñja janeū sājai ||
Meaning: In Your hands rest the thunderbolt and the victory banner of righteousness; across Your shoulder drapes the sacred munja grass sacred thread (yajnopavita).
चौपाई ६: संकर सुवन केसरीनंदन। तेज प्रताप महा जग बंदन॥
Chaupāī 6: Saṅkara suvana kesarīnandana | Teja pratāpa mahā jaga bandana ||
Meaning: Divine incarnation of Lord Shiva, joy of King Kesari! Your dazzling spiritual aura and glory are revered by the entire cosmos.
चौपाई ७: बिद्यावान गुनी अति चातुर। राम काज करिबे को आतुर॥
Chaupāī 7: Bidyāvāna gunī ati cātura | Rāma kāja karibe ko ātura ||
Meaning: Supremely learned, repository of divine virtues, exquisitely wise; ever eager and swift to accomplish every mission for Lord Rama.
चौपाई ८: प्रभु चरित्र सुनिबे को रसिया। राम लखन सीता मन बसिया॥
Chaupāī 8: Prabhu caritra sunibe ko rasiyā | Rāma lakhana sītā mana basiyā ||
Meaning: You delight in drinking the nectar of Lord Rama's sublime pastimes; Lord Rama, brother Lakshmana, and Mother Sita eternally dwell within Your heart.
चौपाई ९: सूक्ष्म रूप धरि सियहिं दिखावा। बिकट रूप धरि लंक जरावा॥
Chaupāī 9: Sūkṣma rūpa dhari siyahiṁ dikhāvā | Bikaṭa rūpa dhari laṅka jarāvā ||
Meaning: Assuming a humble, microscopic form, You appeared before Mother Sita in the Ashoka grove; then assuming a colossal, formidable form, You burned Lanka to ashes.
चौपाई १०: भीम रूप धरि असुर संहारे। रामचंद्र के काज संवारे॥
Chaupāī 10: Bhīma rūpa dhari asura saṁhāre | Rāmacandra ke kāja saṁvāre ||
Meaning: Assuming a terrifying, titanic manifestation, You annihilated the demonic hordes, fulfilling every divine purpose of Lord Ramachandra.
चौपाई ११: लाय सजीवन लखन जियाये। श्रीरघुबीर हरषि उर लाये॥
Chaupāī 11: Lāya sajīvana lakhana jiyāye | Śrīraghubīra haraṣi ura lāye ||
Meaning: Carrying the Sanjeevani life-herb across the skies, You revived Prince Lakshmana; Lord Rama embraced You to His heart with tears of transcendental joy.
चौपाई १२: रघुपति कीन्ही बहुत बड़ाई। तुम मम प्रिय भरतहि सम भाई॥
Chaupāī 12: Raghupati kīnhī bahuta baḍāī | Tuma mama priya bharatahi sama bhāī ||
Meaning: Lord Raghupati extolled Your glory in boundless affection, proclaiming: 'O Hanuman! You are as dear to My heart as My own brother Bharata!'
चौपाई १३: सहस बदन तुम्हरो जस गावैं। अस कहि श्रीपति कंठ लगावैं॥
Chaupāī 13: Sahasa badana tumharo jasa gāvaiṁ | Asa kahi śrīpati kaṇṭha lagāvaiṁ ||
Meaning: 'May the thousand-mouthed Sheshanaga sing Your boundless renown!' So spoke Lord Rama, the Lord of Sri Lakshmi, clasping You once more in loving embrace.
चौपाई १४: सनकादिक ब्रह्मादि मुनीसा। नारद सारद सहित अहीसा॥
Chaupāī 14: Sanakādika brahmādi munīsā | Nārada sārada sahita ahīsā ||
Meaning: Sages like Sanaka, Lord Brahma and the great ascetics, Sage Narada, Goddess Saraswati, and the serpent king Shesha all praise Your celestial glory.
चौपाई १५: जम कुबेर दिगपाल जहां ते। कबि कोबिद कहि सके कहां ते॥
Chaupāī 15: Jama kubera digapāla jahāṁ te | Kabi kobida kahi sake kahāṁ te ||
Meaning: Yama (the god of justice), Kubera (god of wealth), and the guardians of the ten cardinal directions—even the greatest poets and scholars fail to capture Your vast virtues!
चौपाई १६: तुम उपकार सुग्रीवहिं कीन्हा। राम मिलाय राज पद दीन्हा॥
Chaupāī 16: Tuma upakāra sugrīvahiṁ kīnhā | Rāma milāya rāja pada dīnhā ||
Meaning: You rendered an immortal favor to Sugriva by uniting him with Lord Rama, restoring to him his lost honor and sovereign kingdom.
चौपाई १७: तुम्हरो मंत्र बिभीषन माना। लंकेस्वर भए सब जग जाना॥
Chaupāī 17: Tumharo mantra bibhīṣana mānā | Laṅkesvara bhae saba jaga jānā ||
Meaning: Vibhishana heeded Your righteous counsel and surrendered to Rama, crowned as the Emperor of Lanka, as known throughout all realms.
चौपाई १८: जुग सहस्र जोजन पर भानू। लील्यो ताहि मधुर फल जानू॥
Chaupāī 18: Juga sahasra jojana para bhānū | Līlyo tāhi madhura phala jānū ||
Meaning: The Sun located millions of leagues away in outer space—You leaped into the heavens and swallowed it in childhood, mistaking it for a sweet, luscious fruit!
चौपाई १९: प्रभु मुद्रिका मेलि मुख माहीं। जलधि लांघि गये अचरज नाहीं॥
Chaupāī 19: Prabhu mudrikā meli mukha māhīṁ | Jaladhi lāṅghi gaye acaraja nāhīṁ ||
Meaning: Holding Lord Rama's signet ring within Your mouth, You effortlessly leaped across the vast ocean—no wonder, for with Rama in the heart, nothing is impossible!
चौपाई २०: दुर्गम काज जगत के जेते। सुगम अनुग्रह तुम्हरे तेते॥
Chaupāī 20: Durgama kāja jagata ke jete | Sugama anugraha tumhare tete ||
Meaning: Whatever tasks in this universe appear insurmountable and impossible become effortlessly smooth and attainable through Your divine grace.
चौपाई २१: राम दुआरे तुम रखवारे। होत न आज्ञा बिनु पैसारे॥
Chaupāī 21: Rāma duāre tuma rakhavāre | Hota na ājñā binu paisāre ||
Meaning: You are the sentinel at Lord Rama's celestial gateway; no soul can enter His divine presence without Your permission and blessing.
चौपाई २२: सब सुख लहै तुम्हारी सरना। तुम रक्षक काहू को डर ना॥
Chaupāī 22: Saba sukha lahai tumhārī saranā | Tuma rakṣaka kāhū ko ḍara nā ||
Meaning: Those who seek refuge under Your protective lotus feet attain all conceivable peace and happiness. With You as protector, who could ever have anything to fear?
चौपाई २३: आपन तेज सम्हारो आपै। तीनों लोक हांक तें कांपै॥
Chaupāī 23: Āpana teja samhāro āpai | Tīnoṁ loka hāṅka teṁ kāṁpai ||
Meaning: Only You can withstand and control Your own formidable radiance; the entire three worlds tremble when You utter Your thunderous roar!
चौपाई २४: भूत पिसाच निकट नहिं आवै। महाबीर जब नाम सुनावै॥
Chaupāī 24: Bhūta pisāca nikaṭa nahiṁ āvai | Mahābīra jaba nāma sunāvai ||
Meaning: Ghosts, evil spirits, and malevolent entities dare not approach anywhere near when the holy name of Mahavira Hanuman is proclaimed!
चौपाई २५: नासै रोग हरै सब पीरा। जपत निरंतर हनुमत बीरा॥
Chaupāī 25: Nāsai roga harai saba pīrā | Japata nirantara hanumata bīrā ||
Meaning: All incurable diseases are destroyed and all chronic agonies dissolved for the seeker who continuously chants the sacred name of brave Hanuman!
चौपाई २६: संकट तें हनुमान छुड़ावै। मन क्रम बचन ध्यान जो लावै॥
Chaupāī 26: Saṅkaṭa teṁ hanumāna chuḍāvai | Mana krama bacana dhyāna jo lāvai ||
Meaning: Lord Hanuman liberates from every crisis anyone who meditates upon Him in purity of thought, word, and deed.
चौपाई २७: सब पर राम तपस्वी राजा। तिन के काज सकल तुम साजा॥
Chaupāī 27: Saba para rāma tapasvī rājā | Tina ke kāja sakala tuma sājā ||
Meaning: Lord Rama is the supreme ascetic Sovereign over all creation; yet You took upon Yourself the execution of every single one of His sacred tasks.
चौपाई २८: और मनोरथ जो कोई लावै। सोइ अमित जीवन फल पावै॥
Chaupāī 28: Aura manoratha jo koī lāvai | Soi amita jīvana phala pāvai ||
Meaning: Whatever heartfelt longing a devotee places before You, that person receives the imperishable nectar and highest fruits of life.
चौपाई २९: चारों जुग परताप तुम्हारा। है परसिद्ध जगत उजियारा॥
Chaupāī 29: Cāroṁ juga paratāpa tumhārā | Hai parasiddha jagata ujiyārā ||
Meaning: Your effulgent glory shines across all four Yugas (Satya, Treta, Dvapara, and Kaliyuga); Your fame illuminates the entire universe like a thousand suns.
चौपाई ३०: साधु-संत के तुम रखवारे। असुर निकंदन राम दुलारे॥
Chaupāī 30: Sādhu-santa ke tuma rakhavāre | Asura nikandana rāma dulāre ||
Meaning: You are the eternal guardian of sages and righteous seekers, the slayer of demonic forces, and the darling treasure of Lord Rama's heart.
चौपाई ३१: अष्ट सिद्धि नौ निधि के दाता। अस बर दीन जानकी माता॥
Chaupāī 31: Aṣṭa siddhi nau nidhi ke dātā | Asa bara dīna jānakī mātā ||
Meaning: You are the bestower of the eight supernatural Siddhis and the nine divine cosmic treasures (Nidhis), as granted to You by Mother Janaki Sita.
चौपाई ३२: राम रसायन तुम्हरे पासा। सदा रहो रघुपति के दासा॥
Chaupāī 32: Rāma rasāyana tumhare pāsā | Sadā raho raghupati ke dāsā ||
Meaning: You hold the supreme celestial panacea—the nectar of Lord Rama's holy name (Rama Rasayana); may You eternally remain the servant of Lord Raghupati!
चौपाई ३३: तुम्हरे भजन राम को पावै। जनम-जनम के दुख बिसरावै॥
Chaupāī 33: Tumhare bhajana rāma ko pāvai | Janama-janama ke dukha bisarāvai ||

चौपाई ३४: अंतकाल रघुबर पुर जाई। जहां जन्म हरि-भक्त कहाई॥

Meaning: At the moment of death, the devotee journeys to Lord Rama's eternal abode (Saket Loka), forever remembered as a cherished servant of Lord Hari.
चौपाई ३५: और देवता चित्त न धरई। हनुमत सेइ सर्ब सुख करई॥
Chaupāī 35: Aura devatā citta na dharaī | Hanumata sei sarba sukha karaī ||
Meaning: Even without contemplating any other deity, single-minded devotion to Hanuman alone bestows every conceivable spiritual and material joy.
चौपाई ३६: संकट कटै मिटै सब पीरा। जो सुमिरै हनुमत बलबीरा॥
Chaupāī 36: Saṅkaṭa kaṭai miṭai saba pīrā | Jo sumirai hanumata balabīrā ||
Meaning: All crises are shattered and all sorrows vanish for whoever remembers the valiant, all-powerful hero Hanuman.
चौपाई ३७: जै जै जै हनुमान गोसाईं। कृपा करहु गुरुदेव की नाईं॥
Chaupāī 37: Jai jai jai hanumāna gosāīṁ | Kṛpā karahu gurudeva kī nāīṁ ||

Meaning: Tulsidas is eternally the devoted servant of Lord Hari; O Lord Hanuman, please make my heart Your eternal home!
समापन दोहा: पवनतनय संकट हरन, मंगल मूरति रूप। राम लखन सीता सहित, हृदय बसहु सुर भूप॥
