A comprehensive Vedic consecration ceremony for new cars, two-wheelers, and machinery to invoke divine safety, longevity, and freedom from mechanical or travel hazards.
Wash the vehicle clean. Sprinkle Gangajal mixed with fresh water across the hood, windshield, dashboard, and steering wheel while reciting the Pavamana Sukta or Gayatri Mantra.
Mix Roli and ghee or mustard oil. Draw a bold, well-proportioned sacred Swastika on the vehicle hood and steering wheel/handlebar with the ring finger of the right hand. Place Akshat and flower petals on the center.
Wrap the sacred red thread (Moli) around the steering wheel or handlebar 3 or 7 times to protect the driver's hands and directional intuition.
Drape the fresh marigold garland on the front grill. Circle the burning camphor or ghee lamp 3 times in a clockwise direction around the front of the vehicle.
Break the sacred coconut in front of the vehicle. Offer the coconut water near the front tires and distribute the kernel as prasad. Place one fresh whole lemon directly under each of the 4 tires (or 2 for bikes). Start the engine and drive forward to crush all lemons, dispelling all negative planetary alignments.
