2. Religious Content, Astronomical Panchang & Timings
The Sanatana Dharma tradition encompasses diverse regional sampradayas, Panchang systems (Amanta vs. Purnimanta), and calculation methodologies (Drik Siddhanta vs. Surya Siddhanta).
- Panchang & Muhurat Timings: While our algorithms compute daily Tithis, Nakshatras, and planetary hours with high mathematical precision based on Indian Standard Time (IST), local astronomical sunrise and sunset times vary depending on the observer’s exact geographical latitude and longitude. Hindukosh cannot guarantee minute-level astronomical exactness for all global cities.
- Vrat Observances & Fasting Guidelines: Prescriptions regarding Ekadashi parana timings, permitted fasting foods, and ritual vows are presented based on classical scriptures (e.g. Padma Purana, Skanda Purana, Garuda Purana). Individuals with specific health conditions, pregnant women, the elderly, and minors should prioritize their medical health over severe austerities.
- Translation & Transliteration: Sanskrit shlokas and mantras have been translated into Hindi and English with utmost devotion and grammatical care. Given the multifaceted, metaphysical nature of Sanskrit, individual scholars may interpret specific verses differently.
3. AI Vedic Guru (Artificial Intelligence Guidance)
The Ask Vedic Guru AI assistant is a conversational tool powered by retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) referencing publicly available scripture corpora and local open-source language models.
- Responses generated by the AI Guru are informational and educational. They do not constitute formal religious decrees, papal declarations, or binding karmic judgments.
- Despite rigorous grounding, artificial intelligence models may occasionally generate unintended inaccuracies, incomplete interpretations, or contextual anomalies.
- Hindukosh explicitly disclaims any liability for spiritual, emotional, or practical decisions made in reliance upon AI Guru responses.
4. Absolute Limitation of Legal Liability

You may freely share our content for non-commercial spiritual dissemination with proper attribution.
6. Voluntary Seva, Dakshina & Payments
Devotees who choose to offer voluntary Dakshina or Seva contributions via our integrated Razorpay gateway do so purely out of personal devotion and philanthropy.
- All contributions are strictly voluntary and used to sustain server hosting and open-access development.
- Voluntary devotional donations are non-refundable once processed.

7. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
