आरती कुंजबिहारी की, श्री गिरिधर कृष्णमुरारी की। गले में बैजंती माला, बजावै मुरली मधुर बाला॥
Āratī kuñjabihārī kī, śrī giridhara kṛṣṇamurārī kī | Gale meṁ baijantī mālā, bajāvai muralī madhura bālā ||
Meaning: Sing the sacred aarti of the divine Dweller of the groves, the lifter of Govardhan Hill, Sri Krishna! Wearing the sacred forest garland (Vaijayanti), playing sweet melodies upon His flute.
श्रवण में कुंडल झलकाता, मुकुट पर मोरपंख भ्राता। सुभग मुख चंद्र की छवि पे, भुवन का रूप सब वारूँ॥
Śravaṇa meṁ kuṇḍala jhalakātā, mukuṭa para morapaṅkha bhrātā | Subhaga mukha candra kī chavi pe, bhuvana kā rūpa saba vārūṁ ||
Meaning: Dazzling earrings shimmer beside His ears, crowned with the vibrant peacock plume. Upon the moonlight radiance of His lotus face, I surrender the beauty of all realms!
कनकमय मुकुट बिलसै, अधर पर मुरलिका हुलसै। कुटिल अलकें लटपटाती, नयन में रूप छलकाता॥
Kanakamaya mukuṭa bilasai, adhara para muralikā hulasai | Kuṭila alakeṁ laṭapaṭātī, nayana meṁ rūpa chalakātā ||
Meaning: A golden crown glistens upon His head, while the sweet flute dances upon His nectarous lips. Dark curly locks caress His cheeks, and boundless love overflows from His lotus eyes.
जहाँ ते प्रगट भई गंगा, कलुष कलिहारिणी श्रीगंगा। चरन छू भई पवित्र धरनी, आरती कुंजबिहारी की॥
Jahāṁ te pragaṭa bhaī gaṅgā, kaluṣa kalihāriṇī śrī-gaṅgā | Carana chū bhaī pavitra dharanī, āratī kuñjabihārī kī ||
Meaning: From whose holy lotus feet emanated the celestial Ganga, dispelling all evils of Kaliyuga; sanctifying the earth wherever His lotus feet stepped.
चमकती उज्ज्वल तट यमुना, बजावत बंसुरी कान्हा। लिए संग गोपिका प्यारी, लखत छवि राधिका प्यारी॥
Camakatī ujjvala taṭa yamunā, bajāvata baṁsurī kānhā | Lie saṅga gopikā pyārī, lakhata chavi rādhikā pyārī ||
Meaning: On the gleaming shores of the Yamuna, Krishna plays His melodious flute, surrounded by devoted Gopis, beholding the transcendental beauty of beloved Sri Radha.
श्री गिरिधर कृष्णमुरारी की, आरती कुंजबिहारी की। जो कोई नर गावै, परम पद पावै॥
