Aachaman & Invocation of Shri Rama (श्रीराम स्मरण)

Purify mind and body. Hanuman Ji resides wherever the name of Shri Rama is praised. Fold hands and invoke Lord Rama, Mata Sita, and Lakshmana before worshiping Hanuman Ji.

Preparing and Offering Sindoor Chola (चोला अर्पण)

Mix pure orange Sindoor with fragrant Chameli oil to form a smooth paste. Gently apply from Lord Hanuman's feet upwards to the entire body while chanting the Hanuman Gayatri.

Applying Silver Foil, Janeu, and Garlands (शृंगार एवं जनेऊ)

Adorn the idol with delicate silver leaves (Chandi Vark). Offer the sacred Janeu across the left shoulder, tie a red cloth/langot, and place a fragrant red garland around his neck.

Bhog of Laddus and Sweet Paan Beeda (भोग एवं पान बीड़ा)

Offer fresh Bundi laddus and a traditional sweet Paan with cloves (beeda) which Lord Hanuman loves dearly. Place Tulsi leaves upon the prasad.

Recitation of Sundarkand / Hanuman Chalisa & Aarti (पाठ एवं महाआरती)

Recite the holy Sundarkand or 7 recitations of the Hanuman Chalisa followed by Bajrang Baan. Wave a camphor lamp (Karpur aarti) and chant 'Aarti Kije Hanuman Lala Ki'.

  • Men can apply Chola directly; women should offer red flowers, sindoor at the feet, and chant without physical touch
  • Maintain strict satvik dietary discipline (no meat, onion, garlic, alcohol) on the worship day
