Sacred Katha Synopsis
A Gandharva singer named Malyavan and an Apsara Pushyavati were cursed by Lord Indra to suffer as miserable Pishachas in the freezing Himalayas. By observing Jaya Ekadashi unknowingly amidst severe cold, their curse dissolved instantly.
