Constructing the Sugarcane Mandap (Ikshu Mandap)
Place the Tulsi pot in the center of the courtyard or altar. Erect four sugarcane stalks around the pot, tying their leafy tops together in the center to form a traditional wedding canopy (Mandap). Decorate the base with red geru, turmeric swastikas, and rangoli.

Shaligram Panchamrita Snana & Groom's Adornment
Bathe the sacred Shaligram stone with milk, curd, honey, ghee, and sugar (Panchamrita), followed by pure Gangajal. Anoint Him with fragrant yellow sandalwood and saffron paste. Dress Him in royal yellow silks (Pitambari) and place Him on a decorated chowki opposite Tulsi Ji.

Bridal Adornment of Maa Tulsi (16 Shringar)
Drape the Tulsi plant in a radiant red bridal chunri. Adorn her with bangles (choodiyan), bindi, small mangalsutra, miniature nose ring (nath), and vermilion (sindoor). Apply turmeric paste to her leaves and pot as part of the auspicious Haldi ceremony.

Tying the Sacred Knot (Gathbandhan)
Tie the yellow scarf of Lord Shaligram with the red chunri of Mother Tulsi using a sacred red cord (Kalava), inserting a coin, supari, and haldi root into the knot. The hosts (acting as bride's parents) take water and flowers in their hands to perform Kanyadaan.

Seven Wedding Pheras (Circumambulations)
Lift the Shaligram stone in your hands and carry Him around the Tulsi plant clockwise seven times (7 Pheras) while chanting the auspicious Mangalashtaka hymns and Vedic wedding verses. Shower flower petals and unbroken rice upon the couple.

Wedding Feast, Aarti & Devutthana Awakening
Perform the divine Aarti of Mother Tulsi and Lord Shaligram with camphor. Offer fresh sweet rice kheer, seasonal berries (ber), water chestnuts (singhara), and amla. Ring bells and beat brass thalis chanting 'Utho Deva, Baitho Deva' to celebrate Lord Vishnu awakening from His 4-month sleep.
