Sacred Katha Synopsis
King Chitrasena and his subjects observed Amalaki Ekadashi beneath an Amla tree. A hungry hunter, trapped in a temple overnight, observed the fast and puja unknowingly. In his next birth, he was born as a mighty king by virtue of this single fast.

- Worship the sacred Amla tree with incense, lamps, and flowers
- Offer Amla fruits and raw sugar to Lord Vishnu and Brahmins
- Consume Amla in prasad and distribute to seekers
