Aparajita Invocation in the Northeast (अपराजिता पूजन)
Draw an eight-petaled lotus with white chandan in the Northeast corner of the courtyard. Invoke Goddess Aparajita with blue flowers for triumph over all inner and outer struggles.
Observed on Ashwin Shukla Dashami to commemorate Lord Rama's victory over Ravana and Mother Durga's triumph over Mahishasura. Centers around worshiping the sacred Shami tree (exchanging leaves as gold), invoking undefeated Goddess Aparajita, and sanctifying books, tools, and vehicles.
Draw an eight-petaled lotus with white chandan in the Northeast corner of the courtyard. Invoke Goddess Aparajita with blue flowers for triumph over all inner and outer struggles.
Approach the Shami tree outside or in a courtyard pot. Pour pure water at its base, apply red vermillion, light an oil lamp, and circumambulate three times.
Pluck a few sacred Shami leaves respectfully. Exchange them with family members, friends, and elders like precious gold, touching elders' feet for lifelong blessings.
Worship your books, writing instruments, craft tools, medical kits, laptops, or motor vehicles. Clean them, draw red Swastikas with roli, and offer flowers to honor the sanctity of work.
